Thank you for visiting my website. I’m honored to have you here. I imagine you found your way here because you are looking for help to make some changes in your life. You may be feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or all the above. You may be plagued by doubts, fears, or intrusive thoughts. You may know something needs to change but may not know what that might be. You may have found yourself lost and feeling alone in these experiences.
Please know you are not alone.
My goal is to help people live a life that is meaningful to them, in a way that works for them. I see myself as a guide in this process, using my own personal experiences, education, and compassion to help others find their own path in this life and to explore ways around, over, and most commonly, through, the obstacles that life puts in our way.
Welcome to the first step on this path.
My clients are amazing, brave, and beautiful, just as they are. I love getting to be a part of this journey and helping people manage their difficult thoughts and emotions. Many of my clients are neurodivergent (especially autism and ADHD), and many are LGBTQIA++. I work with parents, teaching them best practices to support their children with anxiety disorders.
I use treatment practices backed by clinical research, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Evidence (and my own experience!) shows these treatments are effective in helping clients learn how to relate to their anxious emotions and shift avoidant behaviors.
I specialize in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder and other related disorders (including skin picking, hair pulling, tics, Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and hoarding).
If you are interested in therapy, the first step is to set up a free 15-minute conversation. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, understand your intentions for therapy, and determine if we feel like a good fit to move forward. If you live in California or Oregon, please contact me below to learn more about therapy services.
